Virginians want the General Assembly to focus on education & economy
Our most recent poll was conducted from June 30 – July 9, 2022 , with results released in July 2022. The poll asked Virginians for their perspectives on:
- Approval of Governor Youngkin
- Approval of President Biden
- Governor Youngkin’s economic policies
- Abortion laws
- How the U.S. has handled the invasion of Ukraine
- Addressing gun violence and mass shootings
Virginians disapprove of President Biden but satisfied with status of Virginia’s abortion laws
50%
Say that Virginia's abortion laws are reasonable
43%
Support tightening gun laws
42%
Support how the U.S. is responding to the Ukraine crisis
39%
Approve of President Biden
The issues — the pandemic, increasing cost of living, gasoline prices and pervasive crime — are best measured by the most affected areas: the people. The lack of support for this administration demonstrates that they are missing the mark.
